Treasures

It’s important to me to have pieces in my home that connect me to people and memories. I have been lucky to collect some special pieces which I display throughout the house, it is these pieces that give our house its unique story. The beautiful lady tin was a gift to me when I was around 12 years old from my 80 year old neighbour Mrs Doyle, the tea pots and sugar jugs are my great grandmother’s, the brass plaque is from the front of my grandfather’s dentist, and the darling little birds belonged to my mother. I just love how together, these pieces make beautiful vignettes and tell such lovely stories.
